The ECCE LUDUS project aims to enhance the professional development of secondary school teachers and educators by expanding access to international training on STEAM-oriented edutainment practices. By combining formal and non-formal education approaches, the project promotes the use of engaging, game-based learning methods in classrooms.

Key Objectives:

  • Support continuous teacher training through innovative digital and STEAM-focused edutainment methods.
  • Provide ready-to-use resources to implement the ECCE LUDUS methodology in schools.
  • Establish a sustainable EU Hub of Edutainment, fostering long-term collaboration between schools and the edutainment sector.

Main Activities:

  • Development of the ECCE LUDUS methodology and an online training course for teachers.
  • Creation of the ECCE LUDUS Edutainment Tool, including a VR escape room editor and classroom activities.
  • Launch of a STEM-focused educational escape room.
  • Establishment of an EU-wide Edutainment Hub.
  • Organization of 3 transnational meetings, 7 promotional workshops, and 1 final conference.

Expected Impact:

  • A tailored edutainment methodology for secondary schools that integrates new technologies and non-formal learning.
  • Increased teacher capacity to use digital and game-based tools for STEAM education.
  • Strengthened cross-sector collaboration and a European network of innovative educational stakeholders.
