This project aims to spark interest in space science and planetary defense among primary and secondary school students and teachers, while strengthening their STEAM competences and scientific skills. Through hands-on activities and educator training, the project connects real-world astronomy with classroom learning.

Key Objectives:

• Engage students and teachers in the study of asteroids, meteors, and planetary defense.
• Enhance teaching and learning in STEAM subjects through space exploration themes.
• Provide teachers with resources and training to effectively implement project activities.

Main Activities:

• Teacher training via MOOCs and two summer schools.
• Installation and use of meteor detection cameras and micrometeorite collection kits in schools.
• Participation in asteroid search campaigns using professional telescopes in Hawaii (International Astronomical Search Collaboration).
• Follow-up asteroid observations through the Las Cumbres Global Observatory.
