The AI4STEM project utilises the Five Big Ideas in AI and a series of IoT projects to develop an educational framework and resources on which students (08-16 years old) will be introduced to artificial intelligence through hands-on lessons, blending Internet of Things principles, programming, and STEM learning outcomes, in order to help teachers with the integration of AI learning in schools and to achieve acceptance by the educational community, the students, and the parents. The results are the following:
- Educational Framework & Resources to guide learners through the Five Big Ideas in AI.
- IoT Kit comprising of a pocket-size computer, sensors, electronics, and other components for creating IoT devices.
- Educator's Manual to help teachers utilise educational resources and hardware.
- Online Academy Space for collaboration and learning on AI concepts and IoT projects.
